Sugar and Spice? But you still sink. by Fear359 (f/m, qs, grim) "What do you mean you don't want to go out with me? You like me don't you? You told your friends, that I was pretty. You even told my friends that you wanted to go out with me! So what's the problem, Dave?" "Look Carmen, the problem is that you are a spoiled little brat, and think, just because you are rich, you can push everyone around. Well, my dear! I'm not the one. I'm not gonna play your silly little game!" "What are you trying to say Dave? That I'm not good enough for you?" "No Carmen, I'm saying that I'm not good enough for you. And I wanted to take you out, but in the last few weeks, I have seen the real you, and it ain't pretty! Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is down to the bone, and Carmen, deep down you are ugly, now, and always will be. And that is why I do not want to go out with you!" This is high school. Girls and boys getting along with one another, and they once in a blue moon fight. Meet Carmen and Dave, two high school seniors. Carmen's parents are very rich, and she will let you know in a heartbeat, she walks on everyone just to get her way. Every boy in high school wants the chance to take Carmen out, but she is a very evil, and twisted little girl, who thinks that money is power. Dave is just a normal guy who comes from a middle class family, who moved into town about 3 months ago. While Dave didn't want to move, he had little choice in the matter and is trying to fit into this school as best as possible. But as we all know being the new kid on the block, means having to prove yourself all over again! One day while walking to class he saw Carmen, and knew that he wanted to ask her out. So he started asking questions about her, and what he heard he couldn't believe, until he saw it for himself. And that is that Carmen is a cold, heartless little lady. Carmen cannot believe that some boy that has nothing could and should talk to her like that. After all she has everything, and he has nothing. "Don't you walk away from me Dave, I'm not through talking to you!" "Look Carmen, I did like you, but I don't anymore. Now, if you will excuse me, I am gonna go running. Oh, have a nice day!" And with that Dave walks away, and heads for the locker room, to go change so he can do what he likes best, and that is run. At least this school had some good trails to run on, and for that he was thankful. "God, I don't believe this! If that little boy thinks he can just walk away from me like that, he is sadly mistaken! I'll get him back, but how? Humm! I got it, I got it! I will go and hide down the trail, and when he comes by, I'll scare him to death, and then I will leave him out there. And then that will be that! Carmen, you are so smart! I don't even know why I deal with these little boys at this school anyway!" So Carmen runs off to the locker room, to change into something move fitting. After all she will be in the woods, and heels and a skirt do not go well in the woods. But before she leaves to go to the gym she puts a nail under Dave back rear tire, so while he is fixing his car, she can beat him to the running trail. Dave comes out of the locker room and heads for his car, jumps in and starts to back up, when he hears a "Pop!". Stopping the car, he jumps out, and takes a look around the car, and finds that he has run over a rusty nail. "Ah! Man, this can't be happening! I don't have time for this right now! Oh well, standing here and talking about it is not getting this tire changed any quicker, and I still have to run my 5 miles for the day." As Dave pops the trunk on his car to start fixing his tire, Carmen comes out of the girl's locker room ready for action. She has on her expensive jogging outfit, even though she wouldn't go jogging in it. She also has her 150.00 Nikes that she only wears once in a blue moon, but today she thinks it's worth it, and she heads for the paking lot. And as she jumps into her Mustang GT convertable she sees Dave changing his tire. "Dave, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry, that you think that I am ugly deep inside. But you have to understand: I'm rich, and all the boys in this school know it, so I have to be picky, that's all." "Carmen, you aren't rich. Your parents are. And if you really wanted to meet someone nice you could. But you have this power trip thing that is gonna kill you one day! Treat people with respect and they will respect you, it's that simple." "Oh! You mean like sugar and spice and everything nice, right Dave?" "That's what I mean Carmen. Do you think you can do that?" "Oh Dave, I'm sure I could be a very good girl. You'll see, I'll change just for you!" "Come on, Carmen! Don't change for me! You have got to change for you and only you, otherwise it won't work. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to change this tire so I can go running before I go home." "Well Dave, maybe I'll see you tomorrow at school?" "See ya, Carmen." As Carmen speeds out of the parking lot she smiles to herself and thinks, 'Part one complete. Now to get to the running trail, hide my car and wait for Mr. wonderful to come running by and scare the crap out of him. The nerve of that guy to tell me that I'm not Sugar & Spice and everything nice! Every guy in school wants to go out with me, so I must be doing something right.' It takes Carmen 15 minutes to get to the running trail. She parks her car about a half a mile past the trail and then decides that the best way into the trail would be to find a small trail that leads in that way. In case Dave gets there a little sooner than she expected she would still get to scare him. 'Oh Dave! Are you goona be sorry, you messed with me! I'm gonna get you good, and then I want nothing to do with you. Now there has got to be a trail around here somewhere that will take me in to the forest and to the trail.' Carmen tries to find a trail that leads into the forest, and after about 5 minutes she finds one. It's small and very narrow, but it is a trail. So she takes off down the trail at full speed, but after about 3 minutes of running she sees that the trail is getting smaller and smaller). 'What the heck, what is happening to the trail? Man, I have got to beat Dave, I just have to! But which way do I go? God, I can't turn back. Dave should be here anytime now. I have got to find a way through this maze. Wait a minute! What's that over there? Yes, I found another trail! Carmen, you are so smart!' As Carmen makes her way down the other trail it begins to slope up and then down, like a rollercoaster. About 500 yards down the trail the trail slopes down and then takes a sharp right turn, both sides of the trail are barren with only a few trees on both sides. As Carmen comes to the slope she decides to jog down the hill and will hide behind one of the trees and wait for Dave there. Carmen gets to the bottom of the trail and jumps behind a tree to the right of the trail. It's bigger than the rest of them, and Dave won't be able to see her. So as Carmen steps off the trail to get behind the tree her foot slips in a slick patch of mud, and she falls and heads for the bottom. "Ahh! Oh hell! This wasn't a good IDEAAA!" Carmen comes to a stop at the bottom of the hills and looks up. 'Man, this bites! Now how am I supposed to get back up there and scare Dave? This is so gross! I'm glad, none of my friends can see me now. I can't believe this. a 500.00 dollar jogging outfit ruined, and a 120.00 dollar pair of Nikes toast. Well, I guess that daddy will have to buy me a new outfit and shoes.' Carmen begins to look for a way back up the hill when she sees a rope tied to a tree about 10 yards away. 'Man, talk about luck! I'll use the rope to get back up the hill, and I still might be able to get Dave!' So as Carmen begins walking towards the rope, she begins to notice that the mud she has fallen into is soft, and she has to pull like crazy to get her feet out. Carmen gets less to 10 feet from the rope when her feet go into something she thought was mud. But when she tried to pull them out they just went in deeper. 'Ahh! If I didn't want to scare you so much Dave, I would just go home. This mud is really starting to piss me off, and once I get out of it Dave, I'm really gonna scare you!' But as Carmen tries to pull her right foot out, her left leg sinks in up to her calf. Still not knowing the danger she is in, she begins to pump her legs to break free of the mud's hold. 'Ah! Why can't I get me feet out of this damn mud? The more I struggle the deeper I sink! I don't understand it. But I do know that Dave is sure to be by here any minute. So I have got to get out of here, and I do mean now!' The muck and mud clamp around Carmen's legs like a vice, and the more she moves, the mud takes more and more of her, until it clamps down on her knees. And that's when she realized. "Quicksand! Oh My God! I'm in quicksand! Somebody please, help me! I'm trapped in quicksand, and I'm sinking! Please, help me!" The more Carmen struggles, the softer the mud gets, and it takes more and more of it's prize in the process. Out of desperation Carmen plunged her arms into the quicksand to free her legs. But when she couldn't pull her legs she tried to pull her arms out and found out, that now her arms were trapped as well. "NO! No, no, God! NO! Now my arms are trapped! Please, someone! Help me! God, anybody! I'm trapped! HELP!" The more Carmen struggles the more the quicksand takes. She is up to her chest when she knows that she is done for, and her only hope now is that Dave will show up soon and rescue her. As the quicksand starts to suck down her breasts she panics and starts struggling all over again. The quicksand takes her just below her neck in one swift move. Now Carmen is really in trouble. She has to tilt her head back so she is looking up at the sky. As the quicksand rolls up and into her ears all the sounds around her are blocked out. And with one last look she stares up at the sky, and when she feels the quicksand reaching for her eyes Carman closes them as tight as she can, hoping that when she does open them, this will all have been nothing more than a bad dream. "This can't be happening to me! We girls are Sugar & Spice and-" *GLOP!* The quicksand takes Carmen's face in one mighty pull. Carmen is no more, and the quicksand pops and shakes after having a nice meal. And then everything is still once more. "Hey Dad! Thanks for coming to get me. I can't believe that even my spare tire was flat." "Don't worry about, son. These things happen. Let's just make sure that we get you some good tires for your car, alright?" "Yeah, okay dad. I guess I can take a day off from running every now and then."
